Why is this place charging $2.40 for sandwich that isn't even worth a dollar?

Call McDonald's headquarters and ask them...

The tiny price increase gives the workers a living wage. If you'd forfeit someone else's income for $1.40 off of your sandwich, then you are either: 1.) Too broke for McDonalds. Or 2.) Spending too much time eating burgers and not enough time working to afford it.

McDonalds headquarters dictates only national promotions. Up to the greedy owner and manager to decide how much they want to rip off the customer.

So they can make more money.
