Why Anderson lake is closed for boating due to " low water level" if all the rest of california lakes are full of water and this last winter season were enough water running to fill up all ponds, creeks and streams down to the bay area?

Well just by looking at the lake you can see the low water levels. I'd assume it's so low because Anderson receives little if any snowpack run off.

Anderson Dam is on a fault and the base soil is mud. When they built Anderson they did not know about liquefaction. Basically, if a large enough quake occurs, The dam will slump down about 30 feet. If the dam were full it would spill and erode the dam. I live below the dam.

Had to draw it down, not stable.
