Sadly true.. You'd think if your contributing to they're businesses they'd validate.. Fir more than 2 hrs. Parking is abundant there..
When we were here, we parked in parking structure, walked to Chili's and asked if they would validate parking. They said yes up to 2 hours. Beyond that would be posted rate. So it depends on restaurant policy. Hope this helps.
