Horses are allowed on the extensive hillside and mountain trails on the inland side of Hwy 1, but horses are not allowed on the coastal-side trails which includes Old Cove Landing trail and Ohlone Bluff trail.

Many of the trails allow horses. I regularly see riders there, although the trails can be narrow and shared with cycles and children.
