Health of our customers and staff are the No.1 priority to us. On top of our already strict food safety practices, we have been taking additional measurements: 1) All-mask operations. We were one of the earliest in the Tri-City area that required our staff to wear masks back in January 2020. Ever since then our staff have been wearing masks on the scene and in the kitchen. 2) Enhanced sanitization schedule. In addition to thorough cleaning twice a day, our staff members are required to be sanitized before entering the Premise, wash hands more frequently than the code requires, and clean work surface regularly. 3) Voluntarily operating on take-out only practice. WA now allows the limited opening of dine-out, but in between the revenue and the safety of our customers and staff, the decision of take-out only is the only right one to us. By far, Family Garden has been one of the top restaurants in the Tri-Cities at operating in the most COVID-safe manner, and began doing this right from the beginning. I have been doing take-out, about 2 days a week, for months now, and I go to Family Garden pretty often. Not just because I appreciate how far they go to be safe, but mainly because they've got great food and service!
