why is this place so expensive?

For a quick couple of tacos and a few beers w/ chips & rice & beans = $60.00 +, I've tried it but won't go back, I'd hit the Taco truck down on LA Brea 1st

Its proximity to wealthier neighborhoods, its ambience, and its celebrity-owned marketing strategy, I'd wager... But the quality of food doesn't reflect the cost. Tasty beer selection though.

Because he is a celebrity, consistent quality and service. Plus it's a new business, meaning higher rent over the little mom and pop shops that have been in business for many years.

In my opinion, tacos are not worth it. I've had tacos from other places as expensive that tasted better. As well as cheaper tacos that I prefer. Not my type of tacos, I expected better!
