You must be independent and ambulatory when moving in. Once you are a confirmed and moved in resident, if you become I’ll and need help later or need mobility assistance, or need a caregiver, that’s ok. You need to be relatively healthy to move in here. If that changes later, no problem if you have to hire help temporarily or permanently.
No, you must have a doctor sign a paper saying you are capable of living independently. Caregivers are ok.
