It says no backpacks but I bring mine every time. As long as it's not the type of backpack that you use for school it's ok. It needs to be small. Only food if its sealed & not open
My wife had no problem bringing in a backpack purse thingy. They did search pretty good compared to years back.
Food is allowed but must be brought in a clear bag no larger than 1 gallon. Plastic water containers no larger than 1 gallonare also permitted. No alcohol, glass or non transparent bags with perishables. Purses small bags and backpacks are ok but no duffle bags or oversized backpacks
