General parking is free , there is a huge lot right next to it and staff is decent about putting up sign/cones up
To avoid the jam, consider parking at the Irvine Metro Link Staton and walking across the pedestrian overpass.
If you are driving an EV , the train station near the Amphitheater has a charging station.
