My dog lulu has her rabies vaccine good until 1-8-23. I paid the license and your letter says renewal is incomplete. I have a copy of the vaccination from East Ventura Animal Hospital. Is this ok to use and in Jan 2023 she will get new vaccine?

The renewal is incomplete until animal services has a copy of the rabies vaccine certificate,not the vet receipt of payment for the vaccine. The certificate lets staff know the the vaccine and lot number of the vaccine given. Vets offices do not send your copies to animal services since they are not a part of the county body. Also your license will only be valid until your 1st rabies exp. Date. So the 1st rabies vaccine is good for 1 yr. The 2nd etc. Etc. Will be good for 3 yrs. Of which u must pay for a license every year.
