Wakodahatchee Wetlands | Aug 28, 2019

Dogs and pets are not permitted for the safety and comfort of all other visitors, as well as for the safety of the birds and wildlife that make Wakodhatchee their home. The boardwalk is often very busy this time of year with many visitors, including small children. Additionally, as someone else commented there may be alligators present who would be attracted to a small dog. Please keep in mind that Wakodahatchee is a wildlife habitat that happens to have a boardwalk for public enjoyment. There are several other Palm Beach County park sites that are dog friendly and have dog specific areas. Thank you!
