I have a friend that purchased a cabin there. Are there cabins available now for purchase and if so, what are the costs? Do some people live there and stay year around as their permanent residence?

I would suggest looking on Zillow. I know some people live there year around and some people rent their house out. We have a tenant at portside rv park that is selling his house for approx. 65,000.00 With harbor views and a deck.

I don't know the costs of the houses. My friend's father in law and mother-in-law live there year-round and it's beautiful

The costs are very low because you're buying a tiny home. All the units are privately owned. Some people live in them all year round. The rest are rented out most of the year and the owners can set up black out dates to do repairs, maintenance and enjoy a few days there. Its a great deal i think. Since the cabins have little storage space, the garages become the storage area and are locked up.
