We absolutely love At Rivers Edge and try to come every year, if not multiple times a year. Facilities are kept clean and staff is very helpful. We have not had any negative experiences except for this last visit… There is a trailer park/long term residence that is connected to the property. Normally, its very peaceful. This last weekend however, one of their tenants was extremely vulgar all day long. I can only assume the man was under the influence. It was more of a nuisance since it was right next door to the cabin rentals. As the day went on, the tenant became violent towards someone in an RV site regarding the speed limit. I understand a machete was brought out by the tenant and had the threatened the RV’er. A few hours later, that same tenant that had just became hostile about the speed limit… sped through the resort doing 40 mph (speed limit is 5mph). I have never witnessed this type of behavior within the resort/property. I’m hoping it’s an isolated issue and the tenant has been evicted. We would like to return to the peaceful property that we love!

Wonderfully peaceful spot beside the Chetco River - away from all the bustle but close to town and the Oregon coastline. Good infrastructure, nice landscaping, large pull-though sites, decent WiFi and helpful staff - all of which tempted me to stay an extra day more than planned.

This Facility would really benefit from using a secret guest to come in and test their facility. In fact the ownership should spend a couple of nights dealing with the issues that their tenants have to. The worst Internet service I have ever experienced while visiting any RV park. The sad thing is the facility is beautiful it’s just the service really leaves a lot to be desired. I will come back here in the future and say yes or comments have made any difference. I the staff needs understand that there are there to serve not for us to serve them.

Quaint little RV park about a mile and a half or so upstream right on the bank of the Chetco River. Very isolated from town, the park is nice and quiet, with cleanliness being one of their strong points. There is a small store to accommodate the distance from other establishments, but it could still REALLY use a vending machine. Cell reception is shoddy, but the good free wifi they provide in turn does a great job offsetting that.

Good Morning Cynde- None of our rentals permit pets, but our RV sites allow a max of 2 pets.
Red woods, Fern Canyon is not that far, elk, fishing....
Yes, it does. They will give you a channel list when you check into the park.
you can launch small boats such as kayaks and drift boats - the water is very shallow this time of year Chetco River salmon season will start toward the end of October month of November If you are first timers on the Chetco, I would recommend using a guide in order to get best results
Yes - also WiFi throughout the park. Be sure to call before because we are tight on our larger sites - we have long pull thru sites, back in sites over 50 feet and several other sites that can fit your RV.
I do not know the price I want to say $50 a night and yes pets are allowed...
