Considering a trip w/my 13yo daughter. Looking at your reviews your hostel sounds like a great place well located for exploring, but: 1. Is a hostel stay allowed/advisable w/children? 2. Do you have a shuttle run to the pier 39 Amtrak bus drop off?

Any guest under 18 has to stay with parents/grandparents and the room has to be private room. It takes about 20 mins walking to Pier 39 from our hostel.

Yes kids are welcome, I seen a mother with a small child as well, and there is a shuttle that comes right outside the door, however I'm not sure what places it goes too

When I was staying there, I saw a mother with her two kids (around 12 and 9 years old) but yeah I recommended to ask to make sure :)

Hi, I didn't see children when I stayed, but I think you can ask them, it's full to the young people. This hostel is in chinatown. I don't known if there are a shuttle bus to pier 39, when I was walking everywhere

We plan on staying with our 13 year old. Think it's a great way for him to see the city
