I believe cell phone with no flash id okay but professional camera no.
Some bands require photo passes, others dont. You may not be allowed to bring in a professional camera.

I was told not to use flash, but there are no signs anywhere.

When I went there were no signs up about cameras. Everyone had thier phones out snapping away. So i think your good ☺
I took pictures with my phone, and there were plenty of people sitting video at the show i went to.
