While shopping in Attleboro today, I saw a woman with a “non”service dog in her carriage while in the produce section. Is this Legal? I can’t image filling my own carriage with fruits, vegetables and other groceries after seeing that.

Just because the dog is small and in the carriage does not mean that the dog is not a service animal. Not all dogs are seeing eye dogs. Some detect a seizure before the seizure happens, some dogs can detect Strokes or heart attacks before they happen, some dogs are emotional support animals for people who have post-traumatic stress. I would hope that anything you put in your Carriage, particularly if it was fruits and vegetables, that you are going to wash them when you got home anyway, since it's covered with toxic chemicals from being sprayed, unless of course you're buying organic in which case it just has dirt on it. You may want to try thinking outside of your own needs and experience, and have compassion for people who have different medical needs than your own, and that might not be as obvious as a blind person or someone in a wheelchair.

I dont know if that legal or not. But that shouldn't take away that market basket is a great store.

I have seen it too, just because the dog us small, doesn't mean they can go everywhere.
