The need far outweighs what is donated and collected, sadly there is a huge need and there are not enough donations. I would recommend you go and volunteer so you can see for yourself how much they need to be able to help communities. I've been volunteering for over 10 yrs and I see the wonderful work they do.

I have seen the need and yes there isn't enough for all sadly. However when I donate from Lake County and see the need here, yet more is given there, nope not fair. I know bigger city, more people, leaving others out. Who decides who can and can't eat? It should be shared with ALL central Fl food banks. I never said they didn't do wonderful work, so don't get so defensive. And who says the need is greater there?
