It is my understanding that EBT paid the extra money for those on your situation. However, if anyone in your household was employed at the time of the disaster and your food got spoiled, google "foodforflorida". There is a government site there where you can claim that money for food only. They provide you with an EBT like card for that purpose, for employed and non qualified for EBT people only. The Second Harvest food bank has all kind of items. You can always go ask the front lobby ladies and they will tell you what to do. I do not know if they provide other pantries or if they provide individual households. But there is nothing wrong by asking. We all need to eat.

I do know if you receive food stamps every month they are putting extra on your card for the last two months due to Irma. Now if you have ran out of food yes you can go to the food banks second harvest supports so just go online and get some listing of all the food banks they have now if you are looking for just thanks giving food it doesn't work like that but it doesn't hurt to try and see what's going on blessings are every where hope this was helpful
