Yes it was appropriate. There were many teen aged kids there along with a good amount adults that seemed kinda be watching over the kids. It was a safe environment

I don't know if they allow minors on their own, but it's definitely age appropriate. No little kids are allowed. You'll have to call & ask. Mine are are 12 & 14 & had a blast. But I was there too
