Being a recent homeowner and renting an apartment for the first time was a very new experience for me. I was a bit apprehensive due to some previous reviews as I did tons of research before finding a place to call home. Let me just say that the office staff has gone above and beyond to make this transition a smooth one. I had a small issue with a leaky faucet upon move in and Jasmine was very efficient in getting the maintenance man over to correct the issue and even followed up to make sure everything else was going well. Nothing but positive things be to say about my interactions with the staff here. A little piece of advice, instead of being so negative you could always go purchase your own home, take care of all the upkeep yourself, pay the costly repairs when something breaks and then see how good you truly had it elsewhere. Life is what you make it, so enjoy it!

Their residents completely blow past the exit stop sign everyday. My daughter and I were already almost hit by a car because of the negligence. Worst part was that the driver didn’t even realize that he almost hit us until he actually decided to check towards the right for traffic. Needless to say, he was very startled to see us since we were quite literally right in front of the passenger side of his car because I had to yank my daughter’s stroller back. The way the exit is set up, the residents cannot see if a pedestrian is crossing until it’s too late because residents are typically speeding and have no intention of stopping at the sign. I’ve contacted management of the apartment complex and spoke with the gentleman who said they would take care of it, no progress has been made since then. Leaving a neutral star rating because I have no experience with the apartments themselves. But I did want to make the matter public because it is a serious issue that has yet to be addressed. A speed bump before the exit, moving the stop sign further back, or doing both options could probably help. It’s very concerning because there is a school bus that has a bus stop on either side of this apartment complex and it would be very sad to have this issue resolved after a terrible accident. PS- I just watched a Buick and a black motorcycle blow past the stop sign.

I signed a lease at Lakeview Oaks in April 2021 with an August 2021 move in date. 3 days before move-in they called me to notify me that they “accidentally double-booked the apartment and someone is already living there.” They immediately issued a refund (which I originally thought was nice, but from a legal stand point it made it very hard to hold them accountable for their actions once the refund was issued). Tammy Knowles (manager) offered her personal phone number to us to allow for ‘better communication.’ Later, A STAFF MEMBER OF LAKEVIEW OAKS, told me to not call Tammy on her personal phone because this means calls won’t be recorded (the office phones are recorded for legal purposes). When I finally went to pick up my refund check, the check ledger was incorrect and mislabeled. Each refund was practically a made up amount to make the refund equal to the amount I should have received. We had to BEG the property to pay for our hotels while we were finding another place to live. We would not have had to stay in a hotel if the lease was honored. When we asked for our hotel stays reimbursed, we were asked “well why would you still come down if there wasn’t a place for you to stay?” It is almost like management was shocked we actually had to come to work at our jobs! This is why I signed a lease in advance…to avoid this. If you are looking for an apartment that is run by professionals, there are plenty of other options in the area. I would avoid Lakeview Oaks apartments.

I lived here for a year now. I’m very satisfied with this apartment. I would say the best apt I ever lived at. The environment is beautiful and comfortable. Staffs are all surprisingly friendly and helpful! Overall this is the place that you won’t regret to live at! I have a great experience here!
