Just replacing my ID with a new one but not applying for the one for travel.... What documents are required... Mind you I'm not applying for the traveling one.

They have the DL44 application online at www.dmv.ca.gov fill it out, print it n go to DMV. Try scheduling an appt too. Some DMV's or open on Saturdays

You don't need any documentation. You just have to go there and fill out an application. Tell them that you don't want the real id.
