Parking is not a problem. The food is...terrible.
Parking close by, no issue...but the food isn't anything to write home about.
Like everyone else has said there is parking nearby; both street and a lot next to Mel's. The lot next to Mel's can get pretty expensive,. But if you're going to be dinning at Mel's, you can have your parking validated at checkout and get a reduced rate.
Mel's has parking. There is also street parking. Note it does get busy!
There are paid parking near by
It's right next to the location . It's pretty cheap and safe .
Like Steve Lawrence said- make SURE you get validated... and even then, parking can get expensive quickly... so you do NOT want to park there while you walk around Hollywood. Also - IMHO - Make sure the attendant doesnt 'accidentally' overcharge you.
I've always parked on the street it does become an issue sometimes when it's busy
