Absolutely not, you need a government issued PICTURE id. No exceptions whatsoever. No birth certificates.
This is simple logic. They check your ID to make sure you are a certain age. If you could just say you don't have an ID to get in why check at all? So the answer is no. You must have an ID to get in.
