There is a huge issue on Nevada St. It is not a truck route, though the USPS trucks drive up and down it all day and sometime nights. I've watched them hardly stop at all through the stop sign at Nevada and Orange Ave. (Cars do it too). Now there are two semis that are parking their trucks for days on Nevada (near Heritage park). Please take care of the parked trucks and please patrol Nevada at Orange Ave for both illegal trucks and traffic violations. Also, the trucks are ruining the road, and are flying down a very narrow road at Barton and Nevada.
We aren't sure what you are referring to. Redlands Safety Hall was closed in 2009 due to structural problems, including seismic issues and asbestos. Both the Safety Hall building and the vacant courthouse next door were sold to a private developer several years ago. The Safety Hall building was demolished in 2019. The developer will likely propose a commercial, retail or mixed use project for the site.
