Rangers are very strict with dogs off leash in Lighthouse field and all the other public parks. You can go across the street and there is a off leash beach as well as some great dog parks in the area.
The beach right next to the light house is a dog beach. Lots of room to run around :-)

There is a dog beach just next to it, where dogs can be off leash on the beach in the designated area
There is a small grassy area but there are usually people around so if your dog is okay around people but I do not have a dog. Has anyone seen signs prohibiting dogs from being off-leash?
