Beauty at it's best, plenty of parking spaces that are free. Spectacular views, amazing weather, food walkways and hikes, animals and bikers friendly. A must visit while in the area.

This would be one of my favorite place in California. Those sea lion are too adorable. They fight each other’s with their neck 🤣🤣🤣 also sleeping while there’s are sea lions fighting beside, how could they be so chill. I could just want their fight for one hour still not feeling bored.

Nice area with beautiful views. This wharf doesn't disappoint- several nice shops for souvenirs and a variety of restaurants and sweet treats. The sea lions are an amazing addition and more birds than I've seen at once anywhere. A clean beach is a plus!

It was a fairly nice walk. Am glad it wasn't a busy day. There are several restaurant options and souvenir shops. My girls liked looking at the seals. Personally, would like some more shade to hangout longer, but it is a wharf.

Matthew has it right. Not open to public
Beaches and outdoor dining. No Boardwalk
Early am
I think so. There has always been a band playing when I've gone in the past.
It only takes an hour or 2 the blow the cob webs out the brain. And no baggage handling. Love this place.
Free for two hours, check sign at gate in case something changes.
"35 feet" "From shallow waters at the shore, the Wharf extends in increasingly deeper water to reach 35 feet in depth at its far end." Quoted from the Santa Cruz Wharf Master Plan
Most restaurants have been open for take out, however dine-in is just starting to resume. Expect longer wait times as seating has been restricted with maximum capacity under one half, and tables must be spaced to allow for proper social distancing. That also means that there are much less tables near the windows with a view. Outdoor seating is less restrictive (since the virus doesn't last as long on surfaces in the sun and heat). Places that haven't opened for dine-in yet should be fully open within the next week. If in doubt, call the place you are thinking of visiting. It's a good idea to make a reservation anyway, since dine-in is more limited and with people still working from home, there is kind of a rush on restaurants as they reopen. Also expect slightly slower service as they have cut back on staff lately. So call first to double check and make a reservation (specify if you want a table near the window/outdoor/etc)- but your answer is yes!
First 30 mins is free then it's about $2-3 per hour if I remember correctly
I believe the are donations... Bit completly sure yet
No dive service off the santa cruz wharf u might try a local dive shop
If you have a handicapped placard, I believe it is free. Also before 10:00AM (I think that was the time) is free. We had breakfast at Gilda's and didn't have to pay for parking.
The Santa Cruz Wharf is closed between 2:00 am - 5:00 a.m. fishing is permitted opening ours in the permited areas. No casting is allowed.
