Total beauty, an amazing history. You feel so connected to the beautiful redwoods and the search for gold cool rocks is a must. Unfortunately there's no where to park at all without your car getting stolen, and the homeless camps are and unfortunate reality.

Pogonip is AMAZING! The beautiful trees in this forrest ignite my wonder of nature. So many trails to enjoy and every one of them is a fun filled adventure to wherever one's curiosity might take you. There's even a hidden gem of fish swimming around in a man made pond surrounded by beautiful ferns. I definitely recommend coming here and allowing nature to bless you with it's presence. I will come back for sure!

A local treasure of family friendly trails. Both meadow and forest with lots to explore. Highly recommend the loop trail. Don’t miss the hidden koi pond and rock cairns on another visit. Limited parking, but with multiple trailheads (Spring Street, Golf Course Dr, etc.) you can usually find a spot or just hike or bike in. Beware of the prolific poison oak.

Fun hike. Great trails. Hard to find. No vehicle access. Park on the road and walk in.

Great question and comes with several answers, and could cloud your judgment and multitasking abilities if not approached properly and in good time. Keyword "TIME". Puzzle peace lyrics by Alan parsons project: "Time, keeps flowing like a river, to the sea." Start by the river just before sun up and if adventures properly, no longer than just before sundown. There isn't one on online. But it's a green gate that you just have to drive up to.
