The Metro (Green Line) that runs along the 405 fwy will take U near LAX then a free shuttle bus will transport passengers from the Aviation Metro stop to LAX directly with no stops between. Amtrak does NOT provide train service to LAX.
24 hours a day, 365 days a year, on every half hour (only on the hour between 1:00 am-5:00 am) flyaway buses leave from Berth 9 at the Union Station Transit Plaza off Vignes Street. It takes about 45 minutes and it directly drops off at the airport departure gate. This is the best, most convenient, easiest way to travel between Union Station and LAX. Trains don't go there.
