I will Always love Amtrak, Even though I am permanently scarred for the rest of my life. Due to recycled beverage holder. (Had to go straight to University of Penn Hospital in Philadelphia for treatment ) Could not visit Family there because the severity of injury to right wrist ,🥺😔😔😢😢😩😩.

Why would I go to Amtrak to take a train from Los Angeles to Oceanside, round trip. Then be told. The day I’m departing, 2/20/21 . I take a train from Los Angeles to Irvine. Then from there we ride a bus. But if I take a train to San Diego. It’s train all the way. Even though this train passes thru Oceanside. No wonder no one thinks highly of rail service. Because it’s NOT rail service. It’s bus service with a train on the first part. Have a clue.

There is no stop in the Vegas Valley. Train to Barstow or Williams Arizona is closest.

Checked sketches, as far as I know, there's no Amtrak train to San Bernardino. The second option is Metrolink. From around $13 one way, also they have special on the weekends for $10 round trips anywhere.
Yes most of the time but sometimes there engine problems or trespasser strikes they can get late
