Plenty of parking under the theaters...flat parking fee of $9.00. Well worth it for downtown.
The on site underground was close and quick I'd recommend that

Underground parking on Grant for $9 or vallet parking on Hope.
The underground parking mentioned by others also has stairs that lead right up in front of the theater
The Ahmanson has an attached underground parking garage (shared with the Mark Taper & the Dorothy Chandler).
There's an underground garage beneath the plaza along N. Grand Ave. with a view of the LA City Hall across on the east side. You won't miss it.
I agree. Parking in their underground lot is well worth it.
