It's pretty good chowder
I'm from Portland Maine and picky about my chowder. This one is excellent!! Definitely one of only a few I'm tried on the west coast that is an authentic New England chowder. I'm hungry just thinking about it!!

It's one of the more well-known chowders in the city, although Anchor's signature dish is actually the cioppino (a seafood stew, my personal favorite)
