How do I go about having a cat put down? Hours - days - cost?

You call during business hours and tell them you have a cat you want to have put down. They will ask why...you just explain your situation and they will offer a appointment time. They do require that the vet do a physical Exam prior to the injection. They only do them in the late afternoon something like between 3-5 pm. Price depends on weight of animal I believe. Just take the animal in and what problems it's having. If they feel they can correct the problem then it's a surrender. Putting them down is approximately $35.00 for cat (this price is a few years old). When I had to.put our cat down she was 16 years old and couldn't use a litter box, senile. They put her down with no further questions.
