In the IMAX screen the seats just slightly recline. In Brenden, the recliner further back, and you have the leg rest.
All of our auditoriums, except the IMAX auditorium, have full recliners with foot rests. The seats in the IMAX auditorium are specifically designed and regulated by IMAX. They are a partial electric recliner without foot rests. Their auditorium design does not allow enough room on each platform to accommodate a foot rest. They design the layout of the auditorium to maximize the guest's experience for site and sound. Having larger platforms would change the angle of the stadium seating which wouldn't work for the IMAX experience. However, a little secret is that the seats in the front row of the IMAX auditorium do fully recline with foot rests!
