Do you have to have a valid ID card

In order to enter the Capitol, you do not have to have a valid ID card. However, you will need to enter the building through the north entrance (along L Street) and wear a mask. The Capitol is closed on weekends, and the museum within is closed for the duration. The museum rooms are closed and no guided tours are being given. Self-guided tours can be done with a brochure available at the information desk on the first floor rotunda.
