They offer cash or store credit. Cash is less, credit is a bit more.

It's my understanding that they pay cash unless they have changed policy. They are really nice, I would just call and ask before you make the trip to try and sell

Yes. They will go through your pile of books, and pick the books that are in good enough condition that they can sell them. You will only get store credit for the books they choose.
