I want to take my 2 year old to see snow. Is there a play area like yeti snow play @ mountain high, or do I need to buy some sort of ticket? What ticket is it?

Riding the lift up to see the views from the top and playing the snow isn't unforgettable experience, but as the previous poster said, you need reservations in advance. It can be crowded on weekends, especially after a snow day, so come early.

Would recommend any of the free places and trails ine the way up

I wouldn't recommend it on a weekend, though. there's often so much traffic they have to shut the roads down (this happened last weekend). Baldy is also extremely steep and not the best for young kids. I would recommend looking more towards Snow Valley for that.

There is a lot places to play. You no need to by ticket. You may buy some sled for your child to play, but not necessary. If you want ride on the lift you have to buy ticket in online 24 hrs before. No tickets at premise.
