Hi Jeffrey. If your wife can't go, you can bring a signed Power of Attorney for her. Please bring the ID and Titles. Each transaction should be a little over $400 if you are getting plates in Florida for the first time. The new plate fee from the state is roughly $225. You can get it done there. Your wife might need to go if they're titled to her. Bring ownership docs, IDs and lots of cash. They charge 2% more for checks and don't take cards.
