The new rules for the past year now is a 2 your parking limit. Probably to prevent people from working out for over 2 hours so others have a chance to work out without all the machines being taken up.
They are cracking down on parking A LOT. My huband finished before my daughter and I were done showering and was questioned. Also, they will also get you for parking outside the lines, even if the fault is a row of shifted cars.
I was harrass again today by the security, I am a customer in planet fitness for many years and I never felt this way, I feel that I am not welcome anymore, very sad situation, he said he will give me a citation Next time, i feel like i wanna cry, I feel threaten, I am a good person just doing my workout for at least 1 hour or 2 when i come back to my to my car security come up to me and talk to me about being park more than I should
I do not know of any new rules that say that there is a two hour parking limit nor is it in the contract that I got from Planet Fitness so it really comes down to the contract that you had at the time that you became a member okay they cannot imagine something like that without your approval at the same time just remember it's in Daly City Daly City has very very strict parking laws but that's on public street so I would refer to the contract if it's not mentioned there it cannot apply it to you need to remind management of that and security of that or they're open for class action lawsuit because all of us that are members who have contracts that says the contraire can turn around and sue them if they take any type of disciplinary action towards as for parking more than 2 hours cuz I certainly work out for more than 2 hours I'm there for 4 to 5 hours and I have never once had anybody say anything to me that doesn't mean it hasn't happened
I saw him talking to someone else about their parking and hoping to avoid encountering a problem in the future I asked what the issue was. He told me the same thing that there is a 2 hour parking limit.
Ive never been told that. I think he is being overzealous.
