Go to your local unemployment office and ask if they could pay for your truck driving school. You won't be in any contracts and you'll be free to go to any company you want. The process was easy and the ability to own you CDL from the start is worth it. Thank me later!!
There are many ways to pay for training. Thru unemployment office,veteran assistance,contract companies such as drivers solutions,and self pay. Its not terribly hard to become a CDL driver and there are lots of jobs out there for new drivers. That being said,it can be a hard job. Lots of time away from home and family. Its more a lifestyle than a career. If you have never had a real physical job,this may be a challange. Its not for everyo ne but for those up to the challenge it does have rewards...
