I believe they could have more patience with people with mental disabilities, but their ok. That's why I rated them with a 4.

Loretta Atkins is the most caring and kind person employed at this agency. She cares, she works hard and she goes above and beyond to help others. I can't not praise her enough. In a world with so much negativty and hardships, she is a angel.

I had to pick up some paperwork to fill out. The worker was so nice and explained everything so clearly. Then I had a phone interview with another worker the next day. Again, she was so helpful and friendly. Those of you that leave neg reviews should have to deal with DSS in other counties. You'd realize real fast how Randolph County DSS has people that DO care, and try their best to help you.

The answer and question process is usually the most time consuming in which the required data/info collection required to determine eligibility. The department has the forms online that you can complete prior to your coming in. Completing this first necessary step can help speed up the waiting time and to determine your eligibility and approval for the assistance you and your family/children need. The online site provides the information they need in addition to the completion on the online forms. Choose/click on the department which handles the assistance you seek, suck as food assistance, child support, child care assistance, etc and begin. The web address may be found online by searching Randolph County Department of social services.
There are exceptions to where you can get them back and I believe that if you do certain things like classes and show you haven't had charges within a certain time frame you can get them back. Best thing to do is call and talk to your local office and read read read.
North Carolina General Statute section 14-318 says it's 8
I'm not sure!!! But when you were enrolled with Medicare , they provide a book with every Doctor or Dental coverage. Or you can call the toll free number. They will be able to answer all your questions. I hope this is helpful.
Just call a hotline confidently and leave your information. You don't have to leave your name adress phone or any information. Call from an outside line if you are concerned. You can Google or look in any phone book for these report numbers. I know it's hard, but you are making the right choice. The Lord will help you. God bless
I've had the same issue. I had to just go in and talk to someone.
Call the office and ask
You can look the criteria up online. The best way to know is to go down to the office, however.
Medicaid is the only thing I know of

I'm so sorry you're having trouble. Its nearly impossible to get a worker on the phone. I would go down there. In the meantime, please visit a food bank for some food. The salvation army, many churches, my Fathers Storehouse all have open food banks. Good luck.
Never will get anyone on the phone even repeat dialing all day. Not kidding. Income, heat , electric, phone, rent bill wth address, car ins. Late bill, water . Medical an prescriptions Bill. They ask if u have ck or saving what balance is after all bills. They ask if u r registered to vote if not do u want to That is up to you. Any dr. Bills owed or not. Anything that deducts from income show. Paid or not. Dont wait. Drivers licence or pic id.social security security also has to b seen. They really will help when u have all this if not they can look some things up. Ask for help wth food an anything u need at window when ur turn cause each Dept is different people ask for all at once or u will have yo get bck in line an start again for each thing. Be patient it takes time. Good luck
