We were there a couple weeks ago. First row cabanas are $15 and you get it for the whole day. 2nd row cabanas can be reserved, but if you're not using it by a certain time (1pm, I think), they "can" reseat it (they'll give it to someone else). 1st row cabanas will not be reseated, they're reserved for you with a name card whether you use it all day or not at all. I believe cabanas beyond the 2nd row are first come, first served. Putting your belongings on a cabana does not reserve it - signs on property state this.
If your talking the the Cabana down on the beach.... Cabanas can be reserved by paying $30 goes from like 8 am to 5 pm. Once you pay you can choose where you want to sit, they will place your name on a card and that will be placed on the cabana to reserve it. Now.....if no one has reserved the cabana for the day then maybe what Joe above says stands.....but guest who pays for them gets first choice.
You "reserve" it by placing belongings on it and its for the day only. They are cleared off at end of night and they are first come first serve.
Never used one
