Remember you're renting the rail car not a seat. So if you are single find a friend to fill the second seat on a double, or if you have three on a quad, find a fourth. The price stays the same whether you fill the rail bike or not.
It depends on the type of rail car you get. Tandem cars are $75 for 2 people. Quads are $125 for 4 people.
