No, not at all. Thier prices are fair and they are not only serving the community and giving people jobs... but keeping thousands of tons of reusable things out of landfills. Shame on you for trying to public shame a not for profit.
We appreciate you shopping and donating here. Like many others it seems you want to help our NON-PROFIT buy purchasing slightly worn goods that were donated for resale to help other Vermonters in need. Please check out our website at https://resourcevt.org/ to get up to date info on all of our programs. All revenue from our sales go into running the programs we offer. We also provide those vouchers to Vermonters in need of essential goods. We do try and get fair valuation of the items we sell taking into consideration it may go out at 50% off of that price with our frequent shoppers card. As a frequent shopper or browser you know then of the great value we offer for the item being purchased as opposed to going out and buying the same new. Now Vermonters who don't have a voucher that want something nice for their homes can still find that here at a reasonable price and well below that of new at another store.
I furnished nearly my whole house here for hardly anything. If you think this place is expensive you're missing something.
