They time movies by popularity and time they come out. Some movies have less showtimes during large traffic hours so the popular movies can have more seats available.
This is a public forum. You probably won't get AMC to comment or answer you. From past experience, I would say they are having computer problems and there will be more choices if you show up at the theater. Good luck 😉
