Request days off two weeks in advanced, 1 day off for every week worked. After phase 1 training you can stay on road to work or go home.
This company just left my son high and dry for asking for home time as he was getting set for phase 2. How is treat even legal?
When you ask, just ask ahead of time. They are easy about it.
When you go to upgrade you will be asked if you are going to go home after you complete your upgrade.
They are good about granting time off, the earlier you communicate your needs, even in those emergency cases, they'll work with you.
every 3 weeks? 3 days
They give u time off ok, you just need to give em good notice

Even though we have contracts with many companies, we as a carrier have to WAIT or BID on loads. Don't forget there are MANY carriers out there looking to haul freight. So now you know a little on how we get freight. The other part is WHERE. You can't simply expect the city you're in to have freight going to or thru your home town. A lot goes into getting you home. All carriers...
