If you go through a school that is provided by a trucking company, unless you pay full price for the school, you will be contractually obligated to work for that company... in most cases, a year. Not a bad deal though, because the company ends up paying for your schooling, and you don't need to look around for a job.
Yes , the schools hire you after you graduate. CRE is quite expensive compared to Swift. Swift is around 3500.00 compared to 8000.00 for CRE. Also i believe that CRE trains you on a automatic which means your license will be restricted to only automatic trucks not manuel shift trucks. Every company will require you to have 1 year OTR before your hired for a local route.
CR. England will hire you upon successful completion of their 17 day course with a passing DOT driver's exam.
Yes, but the job can't allow u to come home every night because some nights will get u on trip
I'm sure they have routes where you'll be home at least every night but you would have to be driving for them for a good few month or more in order to get that good route that gets you home every night. You would have to apply on there app they have once your hired and that app will show you all the different accounts you can apply to while your on the road getting your experience... and I say experience because you'll have to wait cause theres a line of other drivers with Cr England who also applied but as long as you keep your record clean you'll move up in the line quicker then those who have a bad record.
In this school they give you the option of working with them.
