What do you need to enter a courtroom? Do I need an ID or can I take my passport? ( I’m going for my dads hearing) also Since I’m a minor (17) can I go with a relative?

Was there last week. You shouldn't need an ID to go inside. I have never been asked to show nor have I ever heard of anyone having to show ID to get inside. They may not let you inside of the actual court with the judge. Unless you're part of the court hearing. This has been a thing since covid started
