I'm a mother of 4 which 3 children are in my care. I lost my place and job we are serverly homeless living in cars and motels when I am able to get a room. Can this place please assist me. I'm trying everything in my power to not loose my children

You are better off looking somewhere else. If you still have custody of your kids then stay away from these people. The children cant play outside The workers there will watch your every move. There is a curfew for everyone. They check their security cameras daily just to catch people doing anything against policy. Most of their decisions are based on personal opinion not actual laws. We never progressed due to constantly calling CPS and the stress of constantly having to go through questioning and meetings with CPS for things liike sending our 10 11 and 13 year old to our truck after curfew. I’m living here now and it’s ok it gets annoying with all the rules and it’s very boring place to be. They don’t have tvs and the kids can’t do anything but it’s a roof over our head and a place to sleep with water and food.

Hi Tonette, Upward Bound House (UBH) does provide short-term housing for families. First, you have to go through the referral process by calling a Family Solution Center at 2-1-1. From there, you will be assigned a case manager who will contact us or another organization on your behalf.

I dont mind a curfew. I work so I wont be out late. I just need a decent place for me and my kids
