To be fair it also had a matinee show at 3:15. Because of studio restrictions the "oldest" film is the one that drops shows for a special event. In this case the special event was Hamlet starring Benedict Cumberbatch from National Theatre Live. Black Panther opened six weeks ago! It is here through next Thursday, April 5 for certain. Our rule of thumb is always see it sooner rather than later!
They might have had a special showing of something else, like one of the theater productions they occasionally show.
Probably because it's been out for over a month and they are trying to rotate to newer movies.
Call them and ask this question.
