Vertex does offer a good selection of stock items for sale. Unlike some of your big name stores, the staff are adequately trained in this field and their product knowledge is very helpful.
Anything that you need to get started in the gym; yes... Plus bouldering crash pads (don't need it in the gym, they do sell them)
Your basic stuff: shoes, helmets, harness, belay device, and some more odds n ends. They also will let you try it out before you buy it which helps alot!
They have a small selection of equipment.
